Are you looking to switch over from Binance to Coinbase? If so you will need to transfer over your cryptocurrency.
Transferring over coins is very easy. All you’ll need is your receivers address on Coinbase, which we’ll show you how to find.
You’ll also need to make sure you use the correct networks to transfer.
If you select the wrong network you could lose all your coins.
How To Transfer From Binance To Coinbase
By following my steps below, you should be able to transfer cryptocurrency from Binance to Coinbase within 2 minutes.
1. Click on “Send / Receive”
For our first step, you’ll want to login to your Coinbase account.
You can do this by heading to Coinbase.com and pressing Log In.
Enter your details and once you are logged in you should see the “Dashboard”.
This page should display the assets you own.
In the top right you should see two buttons: “Buy / Sell” and “Send / Receive”.
Click on the “Send / Receive” button.
2. Click on Receive and Copy the address
Next you should have a popup on the screen.
You should see two tabs along the top: “Send” and “Receive”.
Click on the “Receive” tab.
Now it should display a QR code, asset and address.
By clicking the “Asset” option, you can change the asset type.
For example you can change from “Ethereum” to “Bitcoin.
Under it you will see the receiving address. We need to copy this address.
You can copy the BTC address by clicking the two squares on the right hand side.
3. Find the crypto you want to send on Binance
We now need to find the crypto that we want to send from Binance to Coinbase.
To do this, go to Binance.com and Log in.
Once logged in, look at the top right of the screen.
You should see several options to pick from such as: “Wallet”, “Orders”, “Downloads” and more.
Click on the “Wallet” option and in the drop down click “Fiat and Spot”.
Once you click on this, you should end up on a page that lists all of your cryptocurrency you own on Binance.
Depending on which cryptocurrency you selected on Coinbase, you now want to find the same coin on Binance.
On Coinbase I used Bitcoin as the example so in the search box where it says “Search Coin”, I will type in Bitcoin.
It should now show all the coins with “Bitcoin” in the name. I want to withdraw the real Bitcoin.
So on the next step you want to click “Withdraw” on the right side of Bitcoin.
4. Enter your Coinbase Receiver Address on Binance and Withdraw
For our final step we now want to withdraw.
On the next page you should see several dropdowns and an address box.
First you want to go to “Select Coin” and make sure you are using the same as your Coinbase receiver.
For my example I will select “Bitcoin”.
Next you want to copy the receiver address from Coinbase and paste it into the “Address” box.
Finally you want to select the network. For Bitcoin I will select the default Bitcoin network.
WARNING: Using BEP20 or ERC20 for Bitcoin will not work transferring to Coinbase.
Click the “Withdraw” button and you are complete.
Your transaction from Binance to Coinbase should take 30-60 minutes.
Check here if you want to see how long your Binance withdrawal should take.
